Indigenous Political Authority (IPA)

The mission of the Indigenous Political Authority (IPA) is to empower Indigenous Black Americans to step forward, to reclaim their rightful place and boldly participate in shaping their destinies through collective socio-political and economic action. It is a call to justice, a fierce effort to seek rightful legal remedies through a federally recognized Tribe, to restore lost lands and property rights that have been unjustly taken, and to secure the funding they deserve—funding that stands as a testament to acknowledgment and restitution.
